AI Usage and Limitations Notice

Explains what AI features do and what they must not be used for.

Draft for qualified legal review · Updated 4 November 2026Version 1.1-draft

What AI does

AI features may turn deterministic assessment facts into plain-language study explanations, strengths, weaknesses and revision suggestions. The underlying grading, aggregate, eligibility and placement engines remain deterministic.

What AI does not do

AI must not change grades, invent results, make official placement decisions, infer sensitive traits, or be treated as a substitute for a teacher, parent, counsellor, school administrator or qualified professional.

Information handling

Only the minimum approved facts should be sent to an AI provider. Prompts and outputs must be protected from unnecessary personal information, reviewed for harmful or misleading content, and governed by the approved provider and retention terms.
